When i select a Server in Multiplayer i get the message 'Unreal1 Mismatch' failure Text. This happens everytime i try to join a Match.

Whats the problem?
Thats because rearded Midway decided to alter the UnrealShare.u and the UnrealI.u file in favor of their Midway logo.

That same version of Unreal was shipped with GOG, Valve and Steam, which means all players that have this version are unable to go online. Backthan we made a patch that solves that problem and you can find it on the mainpage of this site: http://www.celticwarriors.net

Though needs to be said the render patch inthere is rather old now but should still make your game improove as far as sound and graphics. But in that respect you might simply be better of with the latest beta 227 patch that also contains the fixed UnrealShare and UnrealI.

You can get patch on this site: http://www.unrealtexture.com/Unreal/Unreal.htm

But the current 227 beta will break with RTNP, so keep that in mind !!! The next beta release will have support for RTNP . So either download the fix from the Celtic Warriors site and keep RTNP or install the latest beta 227 that will break with RTNP and wait till the new beta will fix that again in a couple a months.

In addition to that you should also install the latest texture packages from that site which will improove the graphics to higher than any other modern game around. For that you can download the packages from this link:
http://www.unrealtexture.com/Unreal/Website/Downloads/Textures/Textures.htm

But read that page to see what packages you want like:
- Low End
- High End
- Extreme End

And it all depends how powewrfull your videocard and computer is.

As last i would say, if you have additional questions you should sign up on the forums from http://www.OldUnreal.com. That site is developing patch 227 and has hundreds of experts that can help with anything you want regarding Unreal. It is also the meetingground for anyone that plays with the high resolution textures.
