I can launch and play Unreal Tournament: GOTY (1999) from my Unreal Anthology disc for PC, but when I try to launch Unreal Tournament: GOTY from my GOG downloads, it crashes at the first-time configuration screen. My Unreal Anthology copy recognizes my video drivers while my GOG copy crashes. Both copies of UT: GOTY 99 are version 436, so I don't know what the hell is going on. I copied the UnrealTournament.ini file from Unreal Anthology to replace the GOG version's .ini file which helped it launch, but if I press ESC to start it, it crashes. I can only watch the intro. What's going on with this GOG version/ I want what I paid for to work!

I'd recommend you contact GOG support about this, as they'll know what might be different between the retail disc and their digital distribution version. They'll likely want your full system specs, though, and a DXDiag report. For reference, here is the Unreal Tournament GOTY (1999) support form:

http://www.gog.com/support/contact/technical_issues_with_games/unreal_tournament_goty

From your description I would choose either Launching Issues or Crashing on the form. There is a guide for how to get your DXDiag report which is linked to at the bottom right of the support form.

Do let us know how you get on, though, just in case this helps others.
