I'm playing the current GOG version of the game on Win10 and every now and then at quickloading the game crashes and brings me back to the desktop. I do not have Galaxy installed.

Any idea how I can recitfy that?

Not really, you could run in admin mode that might help.

TBH the game was underwhelming and I have not played it since finishing it when it came out.
A bit souless much like the other unreal powered game of that era: Pariah.
