Title says it all: I can't seem to find a way to alt-tab out of Unreal 2: The Awakening while playing the game. This means if I want to briefly switch to doing something else I have to save, quit out, and then later relaunch.

Not a massive problem, but does anyone know of a way to remedy this? I've heard of games having stability problems due to alt-tabbing, but it's pretty unusual for a game to outright disallow it in my experience.

Additional info if it's helpful:
- The Windows key also does not work while running the game.
- Running in windowed mode does not work (rather, windowed mode itself works, but the mouse still can't leave the boundaries of the game window, so still no way to switch to a different application while the game's running).
- Using Windows 7.

I found something online that says:

"gogwrap.exe starts System/Unreal2.exe with affinity on one core and prevents alt-tab"

You might be able to run the Unreal2.exe directly instead of from the menu shortcut, bypassing the gogwrap.exe.

Of course, they probably disabled alt-tab because it causes problems with the game. Not using it may also cause instability due to the lack of affinity on one core. So, proceed at your own risk.

I recently played Unreal 2 from the executable (like I always do) and didn't have any problems, but I was using Windows XP.

All right, I'll give that a shot. If I run into any problems, then at least I'll understand the likely cause. Thanks!
