Hey guys,

just playing Unreal Gold after a long time and encountered a strange problem:

outside the Vortex Rikers, in that passage with that two rocket launcher-guys, is an elevator downstairs to the right.

I'm unable to enter the elevator neither from this side nor from downstairs, when jumping down into the water...

Calling the platform via the buttons works fine, getting in is impossible. Crouching or jumping won't help...


Can anyone help? Or had the same problem and a solution?

Unreal Gold has some problems with Elevators&doors, from what i read...it had been described as damaged/bad eventscripts or missing mapparameters.

The only solution i read about, was replaying the map and pray or editing the save and/or the map.

I never tried modding/editing unreal so i can't help you there but you might find something useful here
