Hi there, a while ago I backed up my "save" folder but not my "system" folder and this seems to have caused me some issues. Does anyone know a way to restore save files?

Just select the save file, enter ....errr ... ENTER :) and choose the Unreal Gold exe when asked. The save will be loaded and you´ll be ok.

Haven't tried it myself, but here is some info I found that may be of help. Source link on the bottom.
You would copy the file into the /unreal/save/ directory and load it manually from the console. To do this you would type

Open ..\save\save0.usa

That would load the first save. You can access them all with filenames save0.usa right through save8.usa. Then you can resave them in the same slot to add the save information to the unreal.ini file.

Thanks, the main issue is that I have 8 saves and I don't know what their names are, but I guess I can just open them see where they take me.
