The huge assortment of levels, game modes, a pretty awesome single-player mode and then mods & TCs (Suddenly, thousands of them!) make this one of the best $9.99 purchases on GOG.
I'd go as far as saying it will be fun for those that normally hate shooters/FPS, while fans of the genre and gaming in general will certainly find flaws, it's one of those rare games where things just worked together right.
I got this game and I'm loving it so far. I didn't think it would have good single player, but I was dead wrong. This'll help me get some experience under my belt before I take on the internet.
In terms of fun, UT2k4 is definitely in my top 10 list. Though I have it in CD, I just had to buy the GOG version as well. Fantastic game.
I'm a bit confused about the downloads... 2MB + 2 GB + 2 MB? Huh? Why not in one big file, and if not, why not evenly split up? How odd.
Anyway... downloading now. Thanks, guys.
I'm guessing the 2 gig file is the CD image. The first 2 meg file is the installer, and the second is additional data I presume.
