Playing Unreal Gold. Over half way through game with no problems. Now in Temple of Vandora. Am unable to save. I keep getting a general protection fault. I have attached a screenshot of the error message I receive. I don't know what to do to fix this. I can load an earlier save but am unable to make new saves.

Please help me.

I did some searching and found that you need to install the unofficial 277 patch, which you can find here:
https://oldunreal.com/downloads.html


Although unofficial, it was made with the knowledge and permission of Epic Games.

I can't find any reference on that page to a 277 patch. Are you talking about the 227 patch? Did you make a typo?
