I've bought this game a while ago, mostly for old-school nerd LAN parties, but I thought I'd give online multiplayer a shot. The problem is, every server I try to connect to either gives me errors like "connection rejected by server", forces me to download ridiculous amounts of custom models, sounds etc. or is simply dead (only bots, no players). Does anyone here have a good, reliable server they like to play on?

I play this and I'm totally hooked. I only touched single player so far, and don't know any good Multiplayer servers. Also looking for people to play with, this is serious fun and I'd love to have a LAN party around this one day!

Eheheh. Me and my colleagues play this game every day, during our lunch break, and have been doing so for the past 6 years. It doesn't get old, as we mix things up regularly... DM, CTF, Instagib, Rocket launcher arena, ...
