Unreal 2 is a great game, but it could have been better. The gameplay, graphics and overall design is brilliant. Sadly, the story and narrative is far from good (even though the characters are interesting and likable). The weapon design is probably the best part of the game; you have a huge arsenal at your disposal and most of them are A LOT of fun to use. The level design is pretty good, but some of them feel bland and uninspired (especially the outdoors environments). I think that the game could have been a true classic if more work had been put in to it, it does feel a bit rushed. Either way, it's a very good game that every shooter fan should play through at least once!
