So i want to play Unreal, which i never completed in past. And i have three versions, i don't know what to use.

We have vanilla 226 (gog version)
I can apply fanmade patch 227
And i can use Dx10 render (which is incompatible with 227)

Honestly, i don't remember bugs in unreal, why do i need 227?

And i know that 226 d3d render is ok and looks the same as glide.

What sould i do?

p.s. i'm not interested in gfx mods.

The patch was made with permission from Epic Games and the current 227i version contains about 207 additions and 215 fixes compared to older versions.

New D3D8/D3D9/OpenGL renderers
New sound and music output with OpenAL and FMod.
A fixed and improved UED2.1
A native Linux port

Full release notes are here:

The choice is up to you, though, as the latest official version (226) is fully playable.

But doesn't that patch prevent you from playing the Return to NaPali expansion?
If you are only playing the singleplayer campaign you're fine with 226. The fan patch is mostly fixing and adding stuff for people who do everything but play the regular singleplayer, like more advanced console commands and multiplayer related tweaks and additions.
The 227 patch lets you install high res textures, which I like.

That used to be the case with I think 227f but with most recent versions Return to NaPali this is no longer a problem and I played through RTNP just fine with 227

Thank you. That's good to know.

Here are the details from the download page of the OldUnreal site:

The UnrealClassicPatch227 is for the Unreal versions without Return to Napali and the UnrealGoldPatch227 patch includes support for RTNP (UPak) and can be applied to Unreal Gold and Unreal Anthology.

If you want to apply the UnrealGoldPatch227 to classic version with additional RTNP, be sure to apply the UnrealRtNPPatch first. Also you need to ensure that the UPak maps are in the Unreal/Maps/UPak folder, otherwise it won't find the necessary files and can't be installed.

Thank you. I'm ashamed. I should have seen that myself.
