PLEASE IGNORE (see PS below) Not a problem.
Is there a way to specify a custom directory path for temporary files and savegame files? I see the following directory in the log trace, and this is not writable/creatable since I always set game directory read-only.
../../UDKGame//GLProgramBinaryCache/
For example in Daedalus' Deponia, I can set TMPDIR environment variable and that will let the game store any temp files there. And all Linux games save in the user home directory, not in the game binary directory.
I checked the ini files and they all use ../../ path, and I'm not sure changing the ini file would work since it has to be relative to the home directory of the user starting the game, not hard-coded to a specific directory. And I don't see any configuration for cache directory.
PS: Never mind. It does save them in ~/.local/share/TeotlStudios/Unmechanical. I wish there is a way to delete questions or mark it solved without any replies (or even set my own reply as solution.)
