Hello! I've been playing Unepic so far and it's a great game. Recently, GOG updated to version (2.0.3.8), so I uninstalled last version and installed this one. I was playing with a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 until now with no problems at all. Game worked fine, calibration was ok. In this new update, my controller isn't even recognized. I can't even calibrate it. I don't know if it happenned to anyone else. Maybe there's no support for that particular controller in the new update?
I'd love to continue playing with that controller.

I am having the same problem, but I'm using a wired Xbox controller.

Pre-update it worked fine, but after the update it isn't recognized at all.

Well that's odd, I assumed my problem was that my controller is a directinput and he'd decided to make it xinput only, or something silly like that. Regardless, having the same problem with the game recognizing that my controller is plugged in but not allowing me to calibrate it.

I have exactly the same problem. I can switch between an xbox360 controller and a normal usb controller in the windows tools. But no matter what it doesn't recognize the controller.
Before the update I had no problems.

I'm having this problem too (official wired Xbox 360 Controller). The previous version had no problems with detection or calibration.

Same for me here. I got a wired X box controller too.

So...Did anybody tried something to make it work? Or we are the only ones with this problem?

My research suggests that having another controller attached is at the heart of my problem. Because I have a Razer Orbweaver the game won't detect my Xbox controller. I'm not sure if this is the actual problem or not, but I wonder if others here also have alternate controllers connected.

I had only the one controller, no other controller-type devices connected, and either way it's fine when I fire up the version from the old installer.

I don't have any other controllers at all. It was running in pre-update, but I didn't save the pre-update version of the installer. Anyone can send it to me, 'cause I was really having a blast with the game but the lack of controller broke the experience for me.

I just checked it and everything looks ok. My controller was successfully detected and could play normally.

Please, check the following:
1.- Check that the usage of controller is enabled. A checkbox in OPTIONS > CONTROLS > ENABLE CONTROLLER
2.- Try to recalibrate it. In OPTIONS > CONTROLS > CALIBRATE CONTROLLER. Is it working? If you keep pressed any key does the indicator in that page turns green?

Already did this several times. Checkbox is marked, calibrating doesn't work. It's like the game doesn't recognize the controller at all.

More specifically, at least in my case, the game will say it recognizes a new controller, but when I go to calibrate it no matter what button I press the indicator on screen won't turn green to show it recognizes the input.

I'm in the same situation as fourohbro, the controller is recognized, even if I start a new game or try to erase the config file. The game says that there is a controller plugged in, and the checkbox is marked, and I try to recalibrate, but even though it works with another games, the buttons don't work in the calibration.
Even more strange, in the config file, it shows the name of my controller and the buttons all mapped. But it just doesn't work. And the game doesn't let me recalibrate. But it all worked fine on pre-update, as I say.

I could just go on with keyboard, or using xpadder, but it already worked REALLY fine pre-update, so it just bothers me.
I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.

I can't think of any other thing to help out there.

Great game, though. Having a blast so far. ^_^

I was hoping we'd have some new news about this. Has anyone heard anything, or gotten their controllers to work?
