After completing a legendary dagger quest in the sewers which involved a cup of water being thrown onto a fire, I ended up with an empty glass... does it have any function after that quest? Not described as a quest item or anything...

I'm kind of close to the end of the game and I still have the empty glass. Maybe it is used at the end?
