I have known about this game for a while now and it seems fun but what really put me off on buying before was people saying it had a lot of bugs and probelms.

So I am wondering if this release fixes a lot of those problems?

I had heard about it some months ago myself when it had first come up for voting on steam greenlight and have been following it there, so it was nearly an instabuy when it showed up here as my preference is to get them DRM free on GoG whenever possible (unless multiplayer or other features are key to a game which make it better elsewhere). But there has been very little information released on greenlight about the current status of the game so personally don't know how this release compares to the prior releases bug wise, but looks like there is still ongoing bug fix activity as per this post - http://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_unepic/post111

So hopefully any old bugs have already been fixed and anything new will be squashed before long.

I didn't find a single bug in my playthrough, nor CTD, it's totally bug-free I'd say.

It has one bug so far: Robes require 'Robes' skill while character sheet does not have it.
As the result you can't use robes... Awesome.
