Seeing as theres a bullet hell aspect to this game I would like to know how well it controls without a controller before I buy it. Any experiences worth shareing?

The fighting system is kinda like a bullet-hell game, so I'd recommend a controller over a keyboard, but that's really out of preference. The game is still perfectly playable on a keyboard.

It's a good idea to have a keyboard handy just in case, even if you are playing with a controller; you never know when the game will ask you to type something.

Definitely keyboard!
