I'm a bit miffed to find this game plays in a small box on my screen. I found no mention of this before I purchased it. It's hard for me to see. I find games that expose the desktop to be hard to play due to the distraction of the background.

I wish they would show this some how on the screen shots as I will not purchase a game that plays in a 10 inch box on my screen.

it's something wrong with your settings

I don't have the game installed right now but there should be a "Run in Full Screen" option inside the Options menu. Also make sure you choose the correct resolution in case you see any blurriness (pick your monitor's native resolution or try and see what works best).

You must tick that box to be able to play it in full screen. "Alt + Enter" should do the same too. ;)

Thanks, I found a box to click on the opening menu that fixed the problem. this still leaves a sour taste in the mouth. I found the wiki and it's explanation of what the game will do but not how to do it, confusing. I couldn't find the screen shot you wrote of, but thanks.

Very sorry I bought this. Seems to me the a lot of poor judgement went into this game. no manual, starts in a small box, have to rely on the net to figure out how to run and play the game? gog still have the 30 day money back guarantee?

For your information, most of the games can be played in a box (a window) but the majority of the developers make full-screen mode as the default option. Keep that in mind in case you encounter more games that run in a window by default and don't forget that the option is always called "Fullscreen mode" and it always resides in the graphics options. Also, "alt + enter" is a universal command that should work with the majority of games. No manual sucks though and i couldn't agree more (sadly, too many games seem to be like that nowadays). Anyway, i hope you'll eventually find your way through the game and enjoy it! :) Don't want to be the devil's advocate, but i'd expect better from a GOG regular like you sir; they may not be as technically inclined as you & me or they may have very little experience with pc games whatsoever; whatever the case, one of the purposes of the forum is to offer technical help and this person was looking exactly that rather than walk away insulted and never come again.

My apologies. I am frustrated by constant pain from an old injury. Add to that I get migraines. I don't often realize they are coming. The first phase of the migraine is like things are upside down. I see ghost images of things/people and I'm irritated like I have ants biting me all over. The auras often tip me off that it's time to hide from people.

I'm trying to write this with the migraine. it's like writing in a pain kaleidoscope. Please forgive me if this is a hard read also. what I meant to say in the last post is, I get migraines, but they have been daily since mid November. I'm trying to find things to take my mind off all the pain. There are a lot of nutty things going on in my life right now and it's at this time my brain is over run dealing with the addition of these daily migraines. it's from my head to my toes, literally. And it's agitating. The pains from the injury, I can move, shift positions, walk, sit...for momentary relief. Where do I put my head for momentary relief?

I bought this game as it reminded me of Breach, a game I used to concentrate on my Atari ST with when I had a migraine. even after the initial stage of the migraine, when this horrid pain begins and the world starts looking like Tim Burton's worst nightmare, my sight is very messed up. When I booted the game, the small window was a major disappointment. Add to that, no instructions and my brains attention being called over and over again to various spasms and the first stages of a migraine, my frustration and general confusion came out here in my post.
