I made Detection Goggles with Night Vision... and I can't figure out how to turn Night Vision on!

I checked the controls three times, can't activate it via the hotbar, it's not a Combat Utility, not in the Quick Invoker...

I feel like I must be missing something obvious but it's totally escaping me. After a search, no one on the internet has mentioned this that I can find.

Just equip them on the head and then drag them to the action bar.

I swear I already tried that and it didn't work before, but now it does... ah well.
