I was wondering if anyone could help me get started playing Ultima Underworld with Dosbox turbo on my android (Nexus 7). I've notice a lot people people say they have done so, but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm pretty much a Dosbox novice, but I would really love to lay some of these old games on my android. I thought I'd start with Ultima as a "proof of principle" and because I've played all of the Ultima's except for undeworld!

So my problem is I can't figure out how to execute the program in dosbox. I bought the game here, downloaded and installed it on my computer, transfered the files to my Nexus 7. I don't see any executable files in any of the folders. There is no .exe or .bat to run. I'm sure I'm missing an integral step here, but I guess I'm just too much of a novice to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. I'd LOVE to start playing some of these gog games on my android.

You have to open dosbox and navigate your way to the folder where you dropped the Ultima files using the DOS interface then run the executable from there.

The executables and batch files are stored inside the game.gog CD image which has to be mounted inside DOSBox first. Refer to dosboxULTIMA1_single.conf and dosboxULTIMA2_single.conf for the command sequence needed.

Many other GOG DOSBox games use the same game.gog CD implementation, so once you've figured it out the first time you can re-use the same sort of steps to get them working.
