While toying around with the compatibility settings i checked the 'aspect ratio' box. It completely screws up the game full screen, but when i un-check it and save settings, it refuses to stay that way. When i re-open the settings, it has re-checked itself. Every other option will change correctly except for this one, and i'm not quite sure which folder/line of check houses this data so that i can force it to change

any help would be appreciated.

The easiest way is to go to where the game is installed and delete the appropriate conf file for the game (its name should start with something like "dosboxULTIMA") then install the game again. This will reset all DOSBox settings so you'll need to redo the changes you want.

Please mark thread as solved and Arkose's post as the solution.

You could also have opened the dosboxULTIMA config file in notepad and changed the line aspect = true to aspect = false.
