When I visited my games page I noticed a red sign beside Ultima VII saying....'updated'.

What does that mean?
Is there now a different version of the game on gog?

Go to see details. The "Updated" shows up if there is some extras added or updated, as well as of the game updates. AFAIK there has not been updates for the U7 game itself.
