I searched around but i couldnt find anything on this, so here we are.

I inadvertantly got arrested in Britain because i took a farmer's egg (not important but it was the guy with the Hoe of Destruction). Anyway, i got myself out and was busy re-equipping everything, but some of MY stuff, the Avatar's, was stuck behind a wall and i couldnt drag it out, but for some reason i could stlll activate my pocketwatch. is there some special way to get things stuck behind a wall?

Yeah, it's possible to put items behind south and east walls. I take it that this is what you did.
With a bit of bad luck, the item will 'snap' in a spot where you can't access it anymore.
If you want your item back, then the only thing you can do is enable the cheat mode and the wall hacker. Then simply drag the walls out of your way and grab your item.

Fair enough. I wasn't far in the game anyway and ended up starting over so I could use Exult.

Good thing too, I'm pretty sure I lost my orb of the moons there as well.
