Nuvie is an open-source game engine for playing Ultima 6 and the two Worlds of Ultima games (Martian Dreams and Savage Empire). It's still in early development, but is coming along rather nicely.

What makes it special? Well, it'll make playing those classic Origin games so much easier, and also have many improvements over playing them through Dosbox.

One of the most recent additions that caught my eye is the new interface, which looks pretty impressive.

There's a great news post over at Ultima Aiera here: http://aiera.ultimacodex.com/2012/03/check-out-this-nuvie-screenshot/

and the project website is here: http://nuvie.sourceforge.net/
Love the new interface. I wish though they'd focus on finishing making the 3 games work completely first (Unless I am mistaken there are still a lot of things that don't work yet) before enhancing or improving it. This project has been around for quite some time (I think I first heard of it in 2007).
Bumping this thread because I just found out about Nuvie.
And another bump because there are more updates!

I would like to know this too. The mac version is just a dmg file, and it seems like nuvie expects all the raw game files to be moved into the /Library/Application\ Support/Nuvie\ Support/ultima6 folder. I tried putting the Ultima 6 app file there and it doesn't work.
Any way to run nuvie with the vanilla aspect corrected res (320x240 4:3) in full screen? or at least desktop resolution (1366x768 in my case) and the original fov?
