Playing this on a lap;top so I do not have the number keys on the side of the keyboard.

When I go to camp, it asks how many hours I want to rest, and numbers 1 to 9 do not do anything. If I hit 0, it takes me out.

Is there some special setting I am missing to input a number for this?
Never mind.

I found an answer after an extensive search online.

What was that answer?

Try the built in DOS box key mapper Ctrl-F1. I had the same problem, no numpad on keyboard. Could not select active player.
Just had this problem yesterday. It was the num lock being on. Here was the kicker though. I'm playing on a surface book. It doesn't have a keypad. So it doesn't have a numlock. Took me a while to figure it out, but I had to bring up the virtual keyboard, then expand it to include a key pad and THEN I could see num lock and turn it off.
