EDIT - deleted my OP because I answered my own questions by messing around with the patcher. Great tool that was really helpful and explained everything thoroughly.

Is there anything else to add/patch besides the things included in the latest 1.53 "patcher"?

Looking forward to playing some of the older Ultima games I never got to play!
