Hello,
I'm a newbie at Ultima IV. I'm currently a lvl 5-Paladin, the only member in my party is Iolo. Now I wanted to recruit Dupre the Paladin in Trinsic, but he won't join. Is there something I have to accomplish to get him?

You can't get a character who is the same class as you to join the party in Ultima IV, as you need a party representing all the virtues to get the Codex. Since you and Dupre are both Paladins, he cannot join.
