hey, just got ultima 1-3 started up 1 and there is no sound whatsoever, any sugestions

Did you try pressing N? N turns sound on and off. Or are you by any chance playing on Mac OS X using Boxer? The recent update added a volume slider in the lower right corner which for whatever reason was all the way to the left. I was going crazy yesterday because I couldn't figure out why there was no sound until I realized that stupid little slider.
