Just purchased the Ultima 7 pack today, and so far am enjoying the first part a lot. However, when I go to try to start the Serpent Isles part of the game, it goes to the screen that say's "Lord British Presents" and it stays there. You can still hear music playing but you can do nothing else. When you hold Ctrl-F1 (Keybindings on dosbox) and then click back into the game, the screen seems to catch up to where the sound is at at the moment. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? I'd really like to be able to play this part once I beat the Black Gates.
Thank you!

Have you changed the graphics mode or run as administrator yet? Are you using Windows or a different OS?

To change the graphics mode (under Windows) go into the start menu and in the program folder for the games should be a shortcut called setup or something dealing with setup. Use that shortcut (and only that shortcut) to set the graphics mode to anything other than the default. Or if you know what you're doing you can find the DOSBox config file for the game and edit that.

To run as Administrator, right click the shortcut and choose "Run as Administrator" or go into the compatibility tab and check "Run this program as an administrator".
