Hi,

Just bought ultima7 and it doesnt play music or sound and I am sad.
I have windows 7 64 bit and Realtek HD integrated soundcard.

I put the compatibility mode to windows XP and run it as administrator

Can you try to run install.exe (on the game folder). And then select soundblaster pro as your soundcard. Use default settings (io 220, irq 7) and it should work.

install.exe might need to be run inside dosbox... for that, you need to modify the game config file (dosboxULTIMA7.conf) and change the second last line temporary to install.exe

After configuration, change the line back to ultima7.com and try to run the game

When I click install.exe it gives me an incompatibility message.

The Graphic mode setup doesn't see the game when I save settings or start the game.

I FIXED EVERYTHING.

MY ERROR lol.

I reinstalled after deleting my Ultima VII folder and this time used the desktop icon instead of running dosbox.

Have music now.

The screen has scaled better also.

Great game this.
I remember all the Origin games but I didn't have a computer back then,well an Amiga not an IBM and compatible machine as PCs were called.
