Hi, maybe you could help me

every walkthrough says you find the corpses of Tania and Frederico in Minoc Sawmill.
They are seen in every let's play I found.

But they don't appear in my game, although everyone talks about their murder in town.

What have I done wrong? Does it have anny effects to the further game if they are there or not?

This is a bug that can happen if you don't follow a very direct path to Minoc for some reason. It won't block your progress, but you are meant to find a serpentine dagger on the scene as a clue. It's not a required item and you can pick one up elsewhere to fulfill its purpose later.

I believe the trigger is somewhere on the road outside Minoc, so you might have missed it coming from the moongate. Easiest place to find another dagger is in Jhelom.

sadly using the old savegame didn't help. So I will buy a dagger in Jhelom, thanks for your help and happy new year.
