I found a cave by a mountain lake roughly where the dungeon Shame was in Ultima 4, 5, 6. One of my party members said it is the Dungeon Despise.

Is there another entrance to Despise in the more traditional location north-ish of Britain?

I am playing GOG Ultima 7 without any patches. I didn't enter it but a party member, probably Shamino, definitely said "this is the dungeon Despise" at the location where Shame was in U4/U5/U6.

If I understand you correctly, in plain Vanilla Ultima 7, Shamino will say "This is Shame" when I'm at the correct entrance for the dungeon Despise?

I am getting confusing results.

In my GOG no-patch version of U7, I jumped on the magic carpet and flew east to west over the entirety of the Serpent's Spine. I found two caves:

9N, 30N - Shamino says "this is Despise" (in the lake where Shame was in Ultima 4/5/6)
31N, 4W - Shamino doesn't say anything.

I'm trying not to "look stuff up" as it is my first time playing Ultima 7, but I thought given the bug issue in play here I'd lookup the coordinates of Despise get a general idea of where to look.

I found this link from 2002, which I assume predates Exult and any of the patches and would match the GOG Version I'm playing.

In the list of dungeons it lists Despise as being at 9N, 30N, where Shamino says it is, which is by the mountain lake where Shame was in Ultima 4/5/6. And, Shame isn't listed on on their dungeon list at all.

What I'm ultimately trying to confirm is which dungeon entrance should I use for the mission the Time Lord gives me to destroy the generator (he says it's in Despise)? It seem like I should use the cave entrance at 9N, 30N which Shamino calls Despise, but I'd rather avoid a wild goose chase.
