Do either of these spells work, or am I using them wrong? Nothing shows up or flashes or whatever is supposed to happen, to indicate that anything is visible, and the traps continue to do whatever they do even if I try to "destroy" the apparent origin of the trap.

Detect Trap: You should see some brief sparkles where a trap would be.
Destroy Trap: Casting it on or near a trap should disable it.

I'm using Exult. Haven't played the vanilla version in ages, so can't remember if those spells worked there.

I'm sure I've used them in Shame before on DOS.
