I've been playing for a week or so but can't seem to solve the following problems.

How to cast a spell I put the spellbook in Avatars hand and marked the spell and there are plenty of regeants. I chose a level 3 spell. I thought that I should switch to attack mode and that would cast the spell when I clicked on a character. But nothing seems to happen and it seems that I am just attacking with the sword. ???

Shamino keeps disappearing from the group. I have to go find him, ask him to leave and then ask him to join again before he will join and move with the group again.

How do you carry a body? Using my strongest character and emptying his entire backpack and taking off his armor does not work. The message is still "too heavy". So I have been clicking and dragging. When I finally get to the castle in Britain the body won't fit across the bridge. It will not go past the winches as if there is not enough room. I can't teleport to Lord Britain because I can't figure out how to cast a spell. I left the body at a healers until I get enough gold to ressurect. Also I lost Spark in the Cyclops cave and his body is no longer there. All my keys were with him :- /

Only certain "projectile" spells can be cast in a weapon-like fashion. The rest are used by double-clicking the spell entry (not just single-clicking to move the bookmark to them).

A corpse generally won't fit inside a backpack. You have to carry it in the character's hand (instead of a weapon/shield/etc).
