I am playing the GOG version, no patches.
Only the Avatar seems to keep what I put in his hands. For everyone else, if I put a weapon in their hands, shortly after they put it in their pack. They seem to arm themselves when combat occurs but not always with the weapons I want them to use.
Does this sound like normal behavior?
I've worked around this for the moment by just not carrying any extra weapons so my character don't have any choices on what to ready when combat occurs.
