So I'm trying to complete this game entirely without using online resources. It's VERY difficult so far. I'm seeking out pieces of a map, and two of them are in dungeons. One is dungeon Shame and one is dungeon Wrong. Neither of the people who tell you about these map fragment locations tell you WHERE The dungeon is. AS far as I've encountered, I've only been told about dungeon Destard by Sandy the cook. I managed to locate either deceit/despise because it was connected to the Britain sewers.

I guess my question remains, how the heck are you supposed to locate dungeons? Do they expect you just to hump the edge of every mountain in the game until you find a cave entrance?
The Avatar has already been to those dungeons in U4 and U5. So there is no Shame in looking them up on a map. It's possible they even appear on the map that skips with the game.

I believe that if you ask party members or certain other 'major' characters, they can often tell you the location of places. Also, some may be marked on your map (have to decifer the runes) or may be in one of the books that came with the game,
The map provided with the game does show the locations of the dungeons (the "cave" marks). Unfortunately, it does not label them.

IIRC I basically just explored the world as I was completing quests in all of my play-throughs... I've never been able to remember exactly where each dungeon is located so I've always used net resources if I absolutely needed to get to a specific dungeon.
