Ultima 7 the Forge of Virtue: I need to make a sword in the Test of Courage. Apparently I need to equip the hammer, heat the sword until it is white hot, move the sword to the anvil, then double-click the sword to hammer it. My problem is that when I double-click it, I pick it up. But I don't want to pick it up! Do I?

I can't check it now, but I think you need to double-click the hammer and then click on the sword.
Double-clicking the sword makes you pick it up so you can put it in that water thing.

Been a while though, so I can't really remember it that well.

No, if I double-click the hammer while i am holding it, I get a "out of range message".

Double-clicking the sword makes you pick it up so you can put it in that water thing.
