Ok what am I supposed to say with NPCs in this game because this game expects me to write my own sentences rather than select a list of sentences. From what I know so far everybody in Ultima 4 5 6 don't respond to everything only a limited things they can respond.

My problem is well I don't know what to say to NPCs.

Have not seen how it works in Ultima 7 yet so tell me thast aswell.

In Ultima VII topics get listed as they come up and you just click them. In Ultima VI (and the spinn offs Savage Empire and Martian Dreams) keywords are highlighted, so you know you can type those. In Ultima IV and V there is no highlighting. First of all the keywords "name", "job" and "bye" always work (applies to VI as well). Usually "job" has the person talk about what they do, which can give you other clues. For example if someone says "I like drinking beer" then "beer" or "drinking" could be keywords. It will never be something the person hasn't mentioned, so unless he mentions "dragons" there is no point in asking him about dragons.

Yup, just like in real life, if you want to know people better you have to ask them questions.
