I tried to use the search feature before I posted, but the button does nothing when I click it.

Today was the first time I played this game since it was new, so I've forgotten most things about it. However something that seemed strange right away was the wrong sound effects are being played for different actions.

When I walk, instead of footstep noises I hear piano keys. When I swing my starting dagger, it makes a weird DINK sound.

How do I fix this?

There are a number of ways, with varying qualities of sound and music, but the one listed here appears to be the easiest. Posting here in case the search button actually works for someone else at a later time.
