I think I may have lost the key that I need to open the doorway into the corridor to lead down the stairs.
My last save game before I lost it was ages ago, any ideas/cheats on how to open this door without having to redo ages of gaming time?

If you enable the [url=http://www.gog.com/en/forum/ultima_series/enabling_ultima_7_f2_console_hack/?search=cheats ]debug menu [/url] then one of the options is I think titled "Hack Mover", enable this and you would be able to drag the door out of the way.

Be sure to disable it again straight away though before you accidently start moving the scenery about.
