Good day everyone.

I am 1985 born and was without computer during the bright era of these titles.

I enjoyed RPGs starting with the first title of Baldur's Gate. and ending with some titles by Square Enix. I occasionally play games that, to me, have no nostalgic meaning but are held in high honors by general consensus. The oldest of games I have played would probably be Zork, which I loved. I just picked up this pack of UU1+2 and am wandering around level 3 with the first two maps pretty thoroughly explored. The 3D and jumping physics are impressive for a DOS game. The flavor of the game is a bit over the top corny for my liking, but nothing I can't handle. I expect to be playing this game deep in to the night and beyond. And gosh, there is part two as well!

The Question:
I tend to use 1366x768 screen resolution as I own a widescreen monitor. GoGs Graphic Tool has a 1360x768 Option which is great... but Is it easy enough for me to go in to code somewhere to add those missing 6? Thank you!

There should be a .conf file somewhere in the game directory. I don't have the GOG version of the game, so don't know for sure, but for example the Duke 3D file is "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Duke Nukem 3D\dosboxDuke3D.conf"

Look for the "fullresolution" property - that's the full screen resolution.

kalirion is correct, you can adjust both the fullscreen game resolutoin and the windowed game resolution using the .conf file. Back up the file before making any changes.

You may also need to use the "aspect" line... this affects whether or not the aspect ratio of the game is locked. For example, the original game probably did not support widescreen resolutoins, so you will probably "stretch" the graphics if you set the resolution to widescreen. The aspect setting may prevent this but it also might put black bars on the sides of the screen. I'm actually not sure exactly how it works because I usually just use windowed mode for DOSBox games (although those were 2D games, for a first-person 3D game I'll likely use fullscreen).

There's full information about the .conf file in the DOSBox wiki, link below. Just remember that GOG makes a specific .conf file for each of their games, so you want to find the one for Ultima Underworld in your install directory and modify that, rather than the general .conf file that comes with DOSBox.
