Ok, I just purchased this, then came to a screen with both a "Black Gate + Forge of Virtue" and a "Serpent's Isle + Silver Seed" to install. I just clicked on and installed the first one, I think, and on my Gog Galaxy, under "Owned Games", all that's there that I wanted was shown to be the "Ultima VII: Serpent Isle" image (but when you put the mouse hand over it, it says, "Ultima 7 - The Black Gate + The Forge of Virtue") and "Ultima VII The Complete Edition" got there too (which also says "Ultima 7 The Complete Edition" with the mouse-hand over it) See image. I click on the first one, it continues to say to be the same, with images from Ultima 7 part 1, and the "Play" button at top is clickable. Which I click on the other, it also continues to say to be the same, with images from Ultima 7 part 1 also, but different ones, and the "Install" button at the top is grey and unclickable. I also went in and downloaded the "Serpent's Isle + Silver Seed", and nothing came up in my Owned games list. Please LMK what to do. I thought I'd just get "Ultima VII: The Complete Edition" for everything. On Gog Galaxy, under Downloads, it says "Ultima VII - Serpent Isle + The Silver Seed" and "Ultima VII - The Black Gate + Forge of Virtue" are completely installed. What did I do wrong, and how do I fix this?

We've had this question come up so many times, it should be a stickied post.

The GOG interface is confusing. When you click on the "Owned Game" of "Ultima VII" (either one, The Black Gate or The Serpent Isle") Look to the left of the Overview tab. There is this little diamond-looking icon with the number "2" next to it. If you click on that diamond icon, you can select between The Black Gate or Serpent Isle. You should then be able to Install either.

If the "Install" box is ever greyed out (which sometimes may happen if there is a configuration issue), you can still download the install files and do a manual install. Just click on the "Extras" tab (to the right of "Overview" and "My Progress" and then scroll down to "Offline backup installers" and download that file. You can install everything manually using that file. I did this with "The Complete Edition" in order to install both Serpent Isle and The Black Gate simultaneously.

Next to "Offline Backup Installers" and above it is a purple arrow pointing down, with the words next to it: "Download all (12 items - 350 MB)". Is that what you mean I click on?

I pressed this on the "Black Gate + Forge of Virtue" and "Serpent Isle + The Silver Seed" Extras pages, but nothing happened. I then finally did it on "The Complete Collection" one, and then realized it was downloading the maps and other stuff referenced just above it (Maps, Manuals, etc.). I think I may know what you actually meant. At the bottom of the "Black Gate + Forge of Virtue" and "Serpent Isle + The Silver Seed", under "Offline Backup Installers" there's the same game name in a clickable area, but nothing happens when I click on it. For "The Complete Collection", under it is a bigger rectangle with the words inside: "No files available for Windows". Please let me know what to do.

FYI, if you open your window a bit more from left-to-right, you can see the "Overview" "My Progress" and "Extras" tabs without needing to click on the "..." ellipses to navigate to the "Extras" menu.

Hmm, that is interesting that you get the "No files available for Windows" menu option. I honestly have never seen that before, so I don't think I can help you with your GOG Galaxy issue. If I were you, I would just completely uninstall GOG Galaxy and reinstall it, and I would also check your control panel to see if Ultima VII is installed on your computer, and I would also uninstall that before trying to install it.

Another alternative is to download the install files from the GOG Website interface instead of GOG Galaxy. On the gog.com website, you can log in, then click your profile name, and navigate down to "games," click on the game, and then click on either "Download and install now" or "Download Offline backup game installers"
