I start the game, but eveyr time I try to type anything to say it keeps entering it immediately. I´m using a keyboard different to the one in dosbox configuration (possibly since it´s european) but I have no idea which key I need to re-configure.

any help?

This may be little dumb question, but:

Have you activated the TALK mode (T-key) first? In normal game mode, most keys are for the different commands you can use. (Go next to character you want to talk to, then press T + direction you want to talk to.)

Edit... if you indeed are in talk mode, can you clarify a little bit what happens when you say something like NAME?
