Hi goggers! I'm sure there is something silly I'm missing but I bought a bunch of games during the big sale and I'm having problems getting them to run.

Ultima 5 opens dosbox, goes to the black screen like it is going to do the Lord British production deal, then just closes to desktop.

Ultima 6 does something similar but then closes to a dosbox screen when I cant do anything else.

The otherr games I can't play are Starflight 1 & 2.

Ultima 5, 6 and Starflight 1 will work if I install them at my computer at work (was just to test during lunch, I don't play games at work heh).

Starflight 2 still doesn't work though.

I read that running Starflight as administrator might help ... but could it be a problem with my DOSBOX? I do alot of gog gaming and had a stupid Vista 2012 virus last week that required a whole day to get rid of. Could I have a messed up DOSBOX?

Any suggestions wold be appreciated. (oh, FYI, so far Ishar 1, Realms of Arkania 1 & 2 work which I also bought during the sale and all my old gog purchases work too.)

Did you run graphic mode setup from the start menu for Ultima 5 and 6, or try running DOSBox as an administrator?

No, I was going to try running as admin when I get home though. What do I do with the graphics set up? I had seen it but didn't really know what to do.

In graphic mode setup change the "graphic mode" to something else until you find one that works. Do this before trying running it as an administrator.

Hey guys running as Admin worked for everything but SF2. Graphics switch worked there. TY all for the help.
