Sorry for the incredibly noob question, but Ultima 7 is the only game I own on Gog, and possibly the only game I will buy as going through these 2 games will take me about 2 years.

I wish to play them on a laptop in between breaks in work and I mainly wish to play it at home with a proper mouse and desktop experience. Simply logging in and installing Ultima 7 on the pc at home didn't work, is there a way to play from the same save file across 2 computers?

Once again very sorry for the noob question but I really was hoping it would be a seamless process and frankly to me it feels like it should. I'm forced to be on line to play the game I bought, the manuals I couldn't find and downloaded them via some other website. Perhaps I just haven't figured out GOG yet, but it has been far from convenient to my noobish mind.

Thank you
Ok I figured it out i think, I need to be using the online version of the game at all times to have cloud saves? Is there a work around where you can be offline playing, then wander into an area with wifi and then the game will be able to send the saves via cloud. Australia doesn't have great internet and where I work i seriously have none in some rooms, then one area of the workplace will have a wifi signal.

Sorry if this seems like a dumb post, I'm not trying to complain, I cannot see myself playing through it if I have to manually move saves from one pc to the other, or be online to have the wifi signal die due to working in the countryside, come home and then the save didn't work.

Game's too big of an undertaking to put up with complications.
One thing you could try is to copy the entire game directory to a USB flash drive, then you can insert the drive on whichever PC you want to and play the entire game straight from that, with the same savegames. I haven't actually tried this with Ultima 7, but I know it works with some other games.

I don't know how well cloud saves work with Ultima 7, but expecting them to work with poor or no wifi is a pretty high expectation. It's a problem with your internet connection, not with the game or gog.com
