Anyone got any recommendations. I've already kicked the default CPU cycles up a bit and I switched the scaler to 2xsai.

Right now, my mouse doesn't appear, not sure if that is an install issue or a dosbox issue.
I am using scaler advinterp3x and 3000 cpu cycles. Seems to work well.

I cannot use mouse either in main menu, but it will appear in game. I used keyboard to navigate the main menu.
Same here, once I started playing it showed up. I do seem to be having some issues with the keyboard though. Nothing major, but occasionally when I press an arrow key for movement, it doesn't seem to register.

It worked just fine after i installed it using the GOG installer. Dosbox is an awesome project, i've been using it's since .58.
my keyboard issue appears to have been a problem with the left arrow on my laptop.

Also now that I am playing on my desktop, switched to the hq3x scaler since its a bigger monitor. Looks really great!
All the games that are based on the Ultima VI Engine seem to work best with really low cycles. I currently play with 2500. you might have to find a good balance.

Mouse works flawlessly in game.

And I also use 2xSAI which I think is the best filter.

Hmm, maybe i'm missing something, does the high quality filter really improve the graphics that much? Imho, VGA graphics or above has aged well over the years. I'm not sure what the default cycle count is, but it seems spot on to me.

I think it improves it. I hate the jaggedness you see when you just do a standard scaler with no smoothing.

I think the default was 3000 cycles. I'm running at 6000. It makes the animations move really quick (the water is almost strobing!) but I like the way the rest of the game moves so quickly.
