Simple question I know but I don't know any of the controls and am totally winging it haha. Nothing I have pressed thus far has brought up a save menu or option of any kind. Any additional help on where the eff I can find basic game function controls would be appreciated!

Ctrl+S I believe (possibly Alt+S but I doubt it.) There should be documentation in the install location as well to help you out. Otherwise you can always check replacementdocs.com, I know they have the documentation.

Thanks for the help! All of the manuals they include for it are all flavor stuff about the setting. It's nice and adds a whole lot to the story but I was stumbling around that capsule for awhile before I figured out how to use the pry bar haha

yeah since this game and Savage empire both use the Ultima 6 engine they also use the same commands, so for future referance:

Save Ctrl +S
Quit Ctrl +Q
Restore/load Ctrl+R
Sound on/off Ctrl+Z

1-8 enter solo mode, solo mode is where you take control of a single character. Each number represents a charecter so 1=Avatar 2=Warren Spector..I mean Dr. Spector and so on, this is actually useful in Martian Dreams as it allows you to have a party member perform certain functions, for example you may need the Avatar to stand in one spot and have another stand on the opposite spot you then can use Solo mode to set them in said spots.

0 exits solo mode/returns you to party mode

ESC aborts a function or command

hot keys

B= Toggles combat mode/begin-break off combat
A = Attack
C =Cast(don't think it does jack in Martain dreams)
T= Talk
L= Look
R= Rest
