I`m playing this game and some stuff is just confusing. If I turn into a Lizardman before talking to Lord British, he sends me on the mission but the name of the enemy I have to kill remains blank.

I literally tried killing all the enemy types and nothing happened, he kept giving me the same message.

If I don't turn into a Lizard and play legit as a Mage, when I kill the enemy he asked me to and return to him I get a message that says something like "Continue on your quest!" but doesn't say anything else. It's clearly different from the message that shows if I return without killing the monster, but I don't instructions about killing a different monster and I don't I got a stat boost either.

Am I playing this wrong? Is there something peculiar about the GOG version that I should know?
