Hi all,
I've just begun playing Ultima 4 in SCUMMVM (enhanced, with Ultima 5 reagent mixing), and I'm finding it impossible to mix reagents in order to prepare spells. I'm playing as a Bard, and I've yet to recruit any other characters, but whenever I go to (M)ix reagents, and try to mix a (C)ure spell with Garlic and Ginseng, the mixture "fizzles" and I can't prepare the spell. Is this because I need a mage or another character with better magic, or am I doing something wrong with my key commands, or is this a problem with SCUMMVM or XU4? Sorry about all the questions, just can't seem to find anyone else with this issue and want to know if it's me not understanding the interface or a problem with the way it's being run through SCUMMVM.
Thanks!
Huh, just changed the reagent input mode to Ultima 4 mode, thus negating the nice "mix multiple reagents" feature of XU4, but now I can mix spells, so I don't know really....
