The Wikipedia entry for Akalabeth notes that the DOS version of the game included upgraded CGA graphics and MIDI (music or sound). The version here on GOG appears to be monochrome and has no sound of any kind. Is the upgraded version available anywhere?

The 1998 CGA version is available as one of the bonus downloads, along with the manual. It has its own installer and I don't think there's a way to install it directly through Galaxy.

Colors and music aside, I think it's worth playing the upgraded version just because you can Ctrl-S to save anywhere.
