Okay so it is 4 days and 10 hours for the basic human weapon research and basic weapon lab to be made is there any way to speed this up because it is going very slow also does putting a research lab, weapon etc to be built take longer when they are queued?

Yes: build more labs.

No, they are built ones after ones. So the last will only take 'longer' for the prior must be build before.
As for the labs, build more factories if you want to speed up.

About the buildings that you can add in bases, they are built independantly: building more or less don't change the build time of one building.

Thank you Eriss. I captured an alien but the strategic section doesn't tell me if I caught him or not. It tells me when capture him during tactical. I finish the level on tactical but how do I know if I caught the alien (MorelMan) or not?

You succeed a capture mission when you bring back the captured to your starting area, or IIRC if you kill all but this target.
It is often just a way to win the region.
Nothing tells you about the captured enemies, there is no jail to watch.
It just *may* add you some tech to be researched, but you don't have to bother too much with this research from capture as these techs are rather useless.

I figured out the lab thing. One thing is that when click on an unexplored region then click mission I got to the unexplored region but I am not able to explore the region.

Regions where you're not able to put an exploration mission will appear being not controlables (empty),
but you'll be able to put a trail in (if needed) once it's automatically explored (you have to wait some long).

Tell me about tracks.
Your starting base is where all your resources are gathered, but you need a tracks way along your bases.
All your bases are where the resources of their country are gathered, and you don't need tracks for this, but you need to connect the base to the track way.
It is very rare to need to connect a mine region with a track.

As tracks are expensive, I usually connect a base to the track way only when I have conquiered all the mine regions of its country.
